About Faultgrew Tree Service: A Referral Service for Tree Work

Who we are
Faultgrew Tree Service is a referral service for homeowners with tree problems. We are not a tree company. We do not own saws or chippers, and we do not climb trees. The provider does the work.
Why we started this way
Say you have a dead tree over the driveway and a full week of school runs, meetings and dinners. Calling six companies, leaving messages and waiting for replies is a job on its own. This site exists to cut that down. You tell us what is going on, and your request goes to an independent provider who may be able to help.
How a request gets matched
You can call or send the request form. We ask a few simple things: what kind of tree, where it is, and what the problem looks like. Then we route you to a provider in our network who serves your part of the Greenville area and handles that type of job.
The provider then talks with you directly. They look at the tree, explain the plan and give you a written quote. Many providers can respond quickly, but availability depends on the provider and the season.
What we expect from providers
Providers in our network are independent businesses. We ask them to:
- Be clear about what the job involves and what it costs, in writing.
- Hold the licenses and insurance that local rules require for their work.
- Respect your property, your schedule and your neighbors.
- Explain cleanup, haul-away and stump options before work begins.
What we do not do
- We do not perform tree work.
- We do not set the provider's price or promise a result.
- We do not decide how your insurer treats a claim. Some policies may cover sudden damage, so check your policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim.
How we are paid
Homeowners do not pay Faultgrew Tree Service to be connected. Providers in our network may pay for the requests and calls we send them. You pay the provider only for the work you agree to, at the price in your written quote.
Plan around your week
A good tree visit should fit your life, not take it over. Tell the provider about nap times, work calls and parking. Ask when they can come and how long it will take. Typical costs vary a lot by tree size, access and condition, so always get the quote in writing.
